This page describes what App On The Go collects, why, and what we do with it. We aim for the minimum necessary data to operate the service.
Uploaded files
When you upload an .ipa or .apk, we extract metadata (app name, bundle id, version, icon) and store the file so testers can install it via the share link. Files are accessible only by URL — never published, never indexed.
Account data
If you sign up, we store your name, email, and a hashed password. We use these only to authenticate you and link uploads to your dashboard. We don't sell, share, or use email addresses for marketing.
Visitor analytics
To understand how the service is used, we record a row for each page view with:
- IP address (and city/country/ISP looked up from it)
- Browser, OS, and device type (parsed from your User-Agent)
- The page you viewed and the referring URL, if any
- A long-lived
_aotg_vcookie so we can count unique visitors without a user account
We respect the Do Not Track browser header — visitors with DNT=1 are not recorded. Bots and crawlers are also skipped.
You can opt out at any time by enabling DNT or by clearing the _aotg_v cookie.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data to third parties.
- We don't run ads.
- We don't track you across other websites.
